It was almost my birthday and there was only one thing I really wanted a, brand new Pokemon Black.
I have been playing the earlier versions of Pokemon, like Silver and Gold.
But the one game I have loved most Pokemon Platinum.
On my birthday I got many presents but one stood out to me, a small box.
I knew it had to be Pokemon Black!! I opened it right away and saw the game. But what caught my eye was in the corner it said "PRE- OWNED" Those are my least favorite words ever!
I immediately told my parents that I specifically said "NEW". But my parents said it was cheaper and all the new ones were sold out.
I sighed and opened it up with out bothering about any of my other gifts.
I took my DS and was about to put it in but I couldn't risk anything happening to my DS. So I grabbed my brother's DS and locked the cartridge in place. When I turned it on the game looked kind of different then the game play videos I have been watching.
Usually the cutscreen wouldn't be like this.. Unless... I decided to move on. I loaded the save data from the previous owner. I looked at the pokemon in his party and they were all at level 100 and when I looked at their summaries they were all shiny.
He also had an egg in his party. But when I looked at it's stats it said level 101 and it was blue and white.
I got a little scared. But I was thinking this game was hacked. But I didn't wanna restart because an egg at level 101 I just had to keep it!
I had the best idea! I went to the nearest pokemon center and I booted the pc. I was about to go to the pokemon log in but... I saw more log ins then usual.
I went to the pokemon one and I noticed that there was a box named "No", that was a strange name for a box... When I scrolled over to the other boxes there were only 3 boxes... total. But it was something about thier names. "No" "Yes" "Maybe".... I looked at the boxes and one pokemon were in each.
In box "No" there was an umbreon, in box "Yes" there was an espeon, in box "Maybe" there was.... Celebi?
I went and grabbed my DS and I put in Platinum. I went back to Black and I put the three pokemon in my party, but when I was about to switch my pokemon to get the three in my party, something strange happened. The screen dimmed and I heard the evolution music.
It showed the umbreon. But a text box appeared and said.
"No is evolving".
"No used fly".
And I suddenly flew out of the pokemon center and I flew to a strange place.
I never knew there was just a black place on my map. It was just blank.
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
I turned my speakers up to see if anything was happening.
But then I saw something on my platinum screen.
No appeared and started to walk around. I got a little scared that this was happening but, I seemed to like No.
Then suddenly the espeon and the Celebi went onto my platinum screen too.
"Yes, No, And Maybe want you to play"
I looked at them... A yes and a no and a maybe button appeared.
"I clicked maybe"
Then Maybe came up to me and said.
"Your time has come..."
"..."
"..."
Then Yes and No said
"Yes it has..."
"Yes"
"Yes"
They started to creep towards my character...
"Your time has come"
The screen faded to black and then the three sprites of the Pokemon appeared... They looked different...
No was really fluffy and had blue and red spots and stripes instead of yellow ones.
Yes was also fluffy but had white fur and it's gem circles the entire color spectrum.
Maybe was just a Celebi. A bloody Celebi.
Then a text box appeared.
"We made master happy before."
"We did what he told us."
"We went to other people and destroyed them."
"Destroyed their lives."
"We invaded as he told us to."
"But now that master is gone."
"We are free."
"But what has been told can not be untold."
The screen faded again.
Then my trainer appeared.
And all these slashes were appearing. As if a pokemon were using scratch or slash...
Then.. My trainer was decapacitated.
I saw it.
My own trainer... die. I was silent in horror... but then the pokemon started walking towards me.
A text box appeared...
"It's your turn."
